The thing I (and a lot of my friends) struggled with the most was the studying. If you are in the eighth grade coming in to this class you are not used to homework, you will get over this or suffer greatly. Every night you will have somewhere between three and ten pages to read and take notes on, you will use these notes to help take a three question test the first few minutes in class the next day. After that, Mr. Brock will go over what you read and answer questions you have about it. Then you go home and repeat. You have unit tests which consists of thirty-five multiple choice and an open-response, this will be what get's your grade down (I averaged a little more than sixty percent on the tests). You signed up for a college class, you get what you signed up for.
